I am a self-taught Indian artist from Kerala, currently residing in Dubai. Both a poet and an artist, I capture my love and admiration for nature through vibrant paintings and heartfelt poems. Colors excite me, and my art is a joyful expression of my connection with the natural world.
I began my career as an air hostess with Kuwait Airways, where I worked for 10 years before moving on to other prestigious roles. I relocated to Dubai in 2012, and after many years of dedicated service, I decided to take a break and explore my creative side. This marked the beginning of my artistic journey, during which I experimented with various mediums before finding my greatest companion in watercolor. Drawn to the transparency, spontaneity, and portability of watercolors, I became devoted to this medium, spreading its magic and healing qualities for over a decade.
In September 2015, I was appointed as the Country Head of the International Watercolor Society UAE and later that year joined the Advisory Committee of the International Watercolor Society Globe, serving until 2022. Recognized for my contributions, I was invited as a special guest to many International Watercolor Festivals. Through workshops, plein air sessions, watercolor meet-ups, exhibitions, masterclasses, and festivals, I promoted the watercolor medium across national and international platforms.
My works have been exhibited in India, the UAE, and internationally in countries such as Hungary, Albania, Vietnam, Indonesia, Prague, Nepal, France, Switzerland, and Bangladesh. I have played a key role in helping local watercolorists participate in global events and have over 7 years of experience as a gallery manager, organizing numerous art events for professionals, amateurs, and children alike. Notably, I organized the 1st International Watercolor Festival in 2018 and have judged several art competitions both nationally and internationally.
In 2021, I was appointed as the Brand Ambassador for Nevskaya Palitra, a Russian artistic paint brand. In 2022, I founded IWS Arabia Events Organizing and Management Company, which has since organized many prestigious events promoting sustainability and sustainable arts to the community, institutions, and corporate sectors. The company participated as a sustainable art partner in COP28 and the Middle East Summit for ESG Reporting. Additionally, I organized masterclasses by famous artists like Trevor Waugh, Konstantin Strekov, and more.
In recognition of my contributions to the UAE art scene, I was awarded the Golden Visa and named Creative and Innovation Specialist in August 2021. Despite my busy schedule, I continue to paint my favorite subject—nature. My favorite themes include flowers, birds, animals, fish, and landscapes, as I believe that painting nature inspires others to appreciate and cherish it. My journey is a testament to my passion for art and my commitment to celebrating the beauty of the natural world.
