Dear Paws Trails Explorers Community,

Welcome to the 49th edition of PT Explorers! Every edition of PT Explorers begins the same way: with a wild spark.

That spark might be a story shared from a forest trail, a frame frozen in golden light, or a whispered truth from a conservationist working in silence. Together, these sparks shape each issue and this 49th edition is no different. But what continues to amaze us is the way our contributors turn observation into emotion, and emotion into awareness.

This edition features 10 vivid stories that journey through landscapes and lives. We begin with a master photographer’s reflections, move through the pulse of a conservation challenge, pause at the intimate world of a lesser-known species, and spotlight the vision of a woman behind the lens. We cheer on a young voice in Cub’s Corner, feel the tension of a real moment in the wild, wander with a traveler’s tale, admire art rooted in wilderness, and finally, breathe in the beauty of our curated photo gallery.

PT Explorers remains a free platform because the wild belongs to all of us.
