Dijumon Komanthakkal, a 46-year-old Indian Air Force veteran, retired in 2018 after 20 years of service and has since dedicated himself fully to his passion for wildlife. His love for the wild runs deep shaped by a childhood spent in Wayanad, close to forests and sanctuaries he visited often. He has been using cameras for more than 25 years, capturing the beauty of nature with the same discipline and commitment that defined his service in the IAF.
